Whirly-Girls Scholarship Fund, Inc., dba Whirly-Girls International (WGSF) understands the importance of your privacy. We do not use tracking systems to gather personally identifiable information from visitors to our website; however, WGSF does collect personal information when you join as a member of WGSF, register for one of our events, or use/purchase WGSF products or services. The information below explains how that information is used and sets forth the terms and conditions that you agree to by using WGSF’s website.

Use of the WGSF website is based on your acceptance without modification of our terms and conditions of use. Please read the information below carefully before using this site. By using this site, you signify your assent to all of the terms and conditions of use set forth below. Your continued use of this site following the posting of changes to these terms means you accept those changes. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use our site.

Information Collection and Use

WGSF is the sole owner of the information collected by WGSF on the WGSF website. Personally identifiable information, like an email address, may be used for the purpose of executing administrative membership tasks and processing applications. If you authorize release of your information for special offers from outside companies, your information may be added to a marketing list, sold or shared.

We may provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with WGSF under confidentiality agreements. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share your information.

Email Communication to You From WGSF

WGSF currently uses email communication for our e-newsletters, periodic WGSF event notifications, organizational updates, and seasonal merchandise promotions. Each of these email messages include instructions specifying how to unsubscribe. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to WGSF services, such as service announcements, administrative messages, and special event messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt out. You can edit or change your WGSF membership email address at any time in our members only section.

Information from Children

The WGSF website is not intended for use by children. WGSF will not, on its behalf, ever knowingly collect or post any personal information from children under the age of 13 without their parent’s or guardian’s permission.

Changes to Collection and Use of Information

WGSF intends to comply with the above privacy provisions for the indefinite future. However, WGSF reserves the right to modify, amend, or terminate the provisions with or without notice to you. We also reserve the right to apply any such change retroactively to information we hold, regardless of the terms of the policy or statement in existence at the time we collected the information.

You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the federal courts located in Washington, DC and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action.

The Terms of Conditions and Use set forth in this document is the entire agreement between you and WGSF relating to use of our website.
